Coach House Coffee
Welcome to Coach House Coffee, a charming haven nestled in the heart of Stow-on-the-Wold. Located on The Square at 1 Talbot Ct, this delightful café is more than just a stop for your caffeine fix; it’s an experience steeped in warmth and hospitality.
The minute you step inside, you are greeted by a cozy ambiance that invites you to unwind. Customers have praised the stunning decor and comfortable seating, especially the coveted window seats upstairs that offer lovely views of the town’s vibrant activities. As Dave Bowman aptly put it, this café is a “lovely spot, perfectly situated,” making it a great refuge from a chilly day.
One of the highlights of Coach House Coffee is its impressive selection of beverages and baked goods. According to Fatima, the coffee served here is among the best she’s had, solidifying Coach House's reputation for quality brews. Whether you prefer a rich flat white or a decadent hot chocolate—like the two best ever described by Josh Pitt—the drinks are crafted to satisy any palate.
B Simpson raved about the café’s pastries, noting that the Viennese whirl “literally melted in [his] mouth,” and the coconut cake was equally delightful. These treats, along with an array of daily-changing pastries, cater to those with a sweet tooth, making each visit a flavorful adventure.

For those who crave comfort food, the café’s sausage rolls are a must-try. As Sam Jones noted, they come with impeccable pastry and can be perfectly paired with your choice of condiments—exemplifying the café’s commitment to detail and service.
But perhaps the most compelling reason to visit Coach House Coffee is the atmosphere. The team here works hard to create a space that feels like a second home, where the staff go the extra mile—such as running out to get tomato sauce when it wasn’t available. This level of care truly enhances the overall experience.
In essence, Coach House Coffee is not just about quality beverages and delicious pastries; it embodies a sense of community and warmth, reminding us of the simple joys of life. Whether you’re a local or a traveler passing through, make it a point to stop by, indulge in a delightful hot drink, and savor the moment.

The two best hot chocolates I have had in the world have both been in the UK and this was one of them! Great spot and the staff were incredible too! Wish I had a couple more days to have the goods here!

Solid sausage roll with perfect pastry ft. a quality flat white and hot chocolate. Asked for tomato sauce and the waitress came back 5mins later saying she had to pop out to the local cornershop to get some for us. 10/10 service
